Nedsunken livmor

Nedsunken livmor eller livmorsfremfall har symptomer som tyngdefornemmelse i underlivet, og skyldes svekket eller slakkere "opphengingsapparat" for livmoren inne i bukhulen, med den følge at livmoren synker ned og eventuelt stikker ut gjennom skjeden.

Nedsunken livmor er vanlig blant eldre kvinner, men det kan også forekomme etter en fødsel.
