Brudd i talus, ankelbeinet/vristbeinet

Foten består av 26 bein, et av dem er talus, ankelbeinet / vristbeinet, som danner ledd med en rekke av de andre bena. Ved brudd i talus oppstår ofte ujevnheter i leddflaten som krever operativ behandling.

Omtrent 10 prosent av alle beinbrudd forekommer i foten.
