Støyskade

Støyskader kan oppstå både som følge av langvarig eksponering for støy, og som resultat av kortvarige, svært høye lyder. Skaden skjer i det indre øret og er uopprettelig.

Støyskader kan være vanskelig å oppdage i tidlige stadier. For å stille diagnosen brukes audiometri.
