Øyekomplikasjoner ved diabetes

Øyekomplikasjoner ved diabetes er oftest skader på netthinnen. Dette gir i tidlige faser få eller ingen symptomer. Det er derfor viktig med regelmessige øyekontroller ved diabetes.

Netthinneforandringer ved diabetes er den vanligste årsaken til blindhet blant personer mellom 30 og 69 år.
